Meet Jo – A New Chapter at Renew Medical Aesthetics
If we haven’t met before — hello and welcome.
My name is Jo, and I’m so excited to be starting a new chapter at Renew Medical Aesthetics in Gawsworth, Cheshire.
For those who already know me, you may have followed my journey over the years through my beauty therapy business, The Beauty Room, through social media, recommendations, or word of mouth. And for those discovering me for the first time, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to properly introduce myself — not just what I do, but how I approach patient care and why I’m so passionate about helping people feel confident in themselves.
Why I Chose Renew Medical Aesthetics
One of the biggest reasons I decided to join Kelly at Renew was simple — our values aligned perfectly.
I wanted to work in an environment that reflects the same approach I bring to my own patients every day: honesty, education, natural results, and genuinely personalised care.
Too often in the beauty and aesthetics industry, people can feel rushed, overwhelmed, or unsure about what treatments are actually right for them. My goal has always been to create a calm, welcoming space where patients feel comfortable asking questions, understood in their concerns, and confident in the decisions they make.
At Renew Medical Aesthetics, I truly believe we can offer exactly that experience.
My Approach to Permanent Makeup
Whether someone comes to see me for permanent brows, lip blushing, or eyelash enhancement, my approach is always the same:
Listen first
Understand the person behind the treatment
Create realistic, tailored treatment plans
Focus on soft, natural, balanced results
I never believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Every face is different, every lifestyle is different, and every patient deserves treatments that are designed specifically for them.
For me, the best results happen when people feel informed, relaxed, and fully involved in the process from start to finish.
A Little About Me
Outside of clinic life, I’m someone who genuinely loves personal growth and self-development. I enjoy meditation, running, long walks with my dog Radar — my nine-year-old lurcher — and spending time outdoors gardening and growing vegetables.
I’m also mum to Ethan, who is 12, and a huge part of my life is spent proudly watching him play football for Hurdsfield Phoenix and cricket for Macclesfield Cricket Club.
I love reading, music, camping trips, holidays abroad, and most of all, spending quality time with family and friends.
One of the things I enjoy most about my work is building long-term relationships with patients and helping people feel more confident in themselves — often in ways that go far beyond the treatment itself.
I’m also passionate about ongoing education and continuously improving my skills, which is why I’m always training, learning, and refining my techniques to ensure I can provide the safest and most effective treatments possible.
Looking Ahead
Starting at Renew feels like a really exciting new chapter, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the support from existing clients who’ve followed me here, as well as the opportunity to welcome so many new faces too.
