Welcome to The Beauty Room. I'm Johanna and I'm the owner of The Beauty Room, a successful Beauty Therapy business established in 2004, and six months ago I took the decision to diversify my business into the Permanent Makeup Industry. So I set about doing my research into who studies with and, having seen Rich House, Poor House on Netflix over the Christmas period, I discovered Katy Jobbins, the UK's number 1 Permanent Makeup Trainer and winner of countless awards in the Industry over the last 15 years. She is one of only two female entrepreneurs to be featured on the show, and she runs a successful Permanent Makeup Training Academy in Sussex, offering one-to-one training courses. 

I embarked on my training course in March & April of this year, and what an experience! Having one-on-one expert training from Katy was pivotal in my quick learning of the procedures and techniques. I have found a vocation I love, having already been working in a job I've enjoyed over the last 28 years. I've always had that feeling, there was something else, and now I've found it. 

I recently featured on The Mother Hub, introducing my business. This is a great network for busy working mums who own their businesses to showcase what they do and promote it in their local area.
